Welcome to our little family! Ours is hardly your average ‘dog walking service.’ We get very attached to our kids and treat them like our very own. We’ve dropped them at the groomer, picked them up at the vet, gotten them out of the house for maintenance visits, even picked up dry cleaning, you name it. I don’t have specified rates for all of these things, we can figure that out as the needs arise (please note the stated prices closely, and respect that it is a in fact a business, so reimbursement for any/all services rendered is required). Much of my business is based on client by client needs, so don’t hesitate to ask for anything at all to make your life easier. But just to outline a few important aspects:
Trial Period: Please consider our first two weeks, 10 days of services, a trial period. If there is ANY reason that you are not completely thrilled with your dog’s care, do not hesitate to let me know. I am a part of a huge pet care network and am happy to connect you with someone with whom it is a perfect fit all around. I want you, your pet(s), my walkers, and I, to be happier and more fulfilled by being a part of each others lives, in every possible way.
Scheduling: We bike and walk everywhere and are very sensitive about everyone getting the most out of the time that we have. I attempt to offer you an idea of arrival times within a two-hour window so that you will have a general idea of when your pup will get out each day. So if you would like a walk around 2 pm, you can count on us being there daily between 1 and 3 pm. This is due to the fact that things do happen; puppy illness, human illness, irregular schedules, extreme weather (for which we welcome towels left for their wet feeties), but we do our best to keep on a schedule (they check in with me at every location). Almost all of our pups have their walk all to themselves. We would be willing to consider walking them with another if you prefer they have the company and they enjoy walking with a neightbor buddy that we also walk. If it is necessary to make a walk short for any reason it will be made up for on a following day. I will always do my best to fit in anything that you need, as close as possible to when you need it. But don’t forget to cancel! If you don't cancel by the night before the scheduled walk, you will be charged for the visit.
Over-time: Any walks that are requested for outside of 10AM – 4PM, Monday – Friday, or on a holiday, is overtime. Please note alternate prices.
Vacation Care: I know how stressful it can be to travel when you have furry children and we are more than happy to help ease your mind. The more notice the better but if we are available we are always happy to accommodate, be it coming to stay with us, or staying with your pup in your home. Please provide as much information as you can for any overnight care, the more the better. Their typical daily routines, likes and dislikes, bad habits (they all have them :)), all of that sort of thing. Cancellations for any holiday bookings must be paid in full, if made with two weeks before said holiday (as we could have accepted a booking in it's place). We typically arrange to pick them up not long after you have departed and have them there awaiting your arrival when you return. This allows us to work around our walking schedules, and more importantly, provide one less thing for you to worry about when traveling, we take care of it all, you just notify me of the time you will be departing and arriving, and send a note when you are on your way, and when you've arrived back at home to their smiling faces. If you need pick up and drop off at specific times, it will be an extra $20 per visit. The nightly rate pays for approximately 24 hours, above and beyond this will incur additional walking charges. If you are not a regular client, payment must left in full upon departure, or you will be charged an additional $20 for the extra trip to come pick it up on your return.
Correspondence: All scheduling, payment, genereal questions about care, should be emailed to me. Notes about the day's walk ('had a bad tummy this morning' or where the towel is left), can be left in the report book. Last minute/same day changes, can be sent via text to me, and can include your regular walker.
Payment: Cash is appreciated whenever possible, especially for small payments. You can also pay via Chase QuickPay, Venmo, or PayPal. You can choose to pay weekly, or you can opt to be invoiced monthly. The most important thing is that you pay in a consistent matter. After two late payments, you will be charged an extra $5/day on any more late payments. Please take a moment to look over the price list closely, prices vary with changes in services.
Treats: Finally, before we leave we will dole out a treat or two (almost always grain and chicken free). We carry them on us. If your pup has particular digestive sensitivities or is on a diet, just let us know.
